In this episode Holly and clinical herbalist Leah Larabell of High Garden Tea talk about the power of herbalism, where we can find unconditional love and belonging, and how to start developing a relationship with plants.
Leah Larabell is a trained clinical level herbalist, practicing for over 20 years. She holds a Masters degree in counseling and psychology which enhances her work as an ecotherapist. She is the co- owner of High Garden Tea with her husband and possibly most of all, a nature loving tree hugger, conservationist, wife, mother and daughter.
She has been taught by renowned herbal elders as well as Mother Nature herself and finds great purpose in sharing the herbalism tradition with those seeking. Its her goal to put plant wisdom and connection back into as many homes as possible.
Leah and her husband Joel are passionate about forest conservation and save a large percentage of profits from their social enterprise, High Garden Tea to purchase and preserve forested land through conservation easements and land trusts.
She is a forever student of the land and eternally grateful for the lessons, medicine, food, shelter and belonging.
